Despite decades of improvements in industrial software, manufacturing companies are still operating in a complete state of chaos. Paper & spreadsheets are still the primary tools that shopfloor managers and operators rely on to get the job done, and they're desperate for something better. ERPs were supposed to fix that, but ended up very often creating more complexity that what needed to be solved.
At Bonx, we aim to change that. Our mission is to be the first manufacturing ERP platform that deploys in 30 days, requires zero training to get started and can be tailored by the client, in full autonomy and continuously over time.
Our ambition is to become the fastest growing and new leader of the manufacturing ERP category in Europe and in the US in the next 5-7 years.
We're a lean and remarquable team with a diverse background in manufacturing, logistics operations, e-commerce, GTM and Tech, based in Paris. We recently raised an 8.5M seed round, we're already live in 15 factories, and we're looking for an exceptionally talented Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and help us accelerate on a very ambitious product roadmap to achieve this vision.

💼About the Role:
As a founding engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and evolution of our product while contributing to shape the foundations of our engineering team, in direct collaboration with our CTO.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Building the product, ranging from develpping new automated scheduling, AI-based business rules capture & execution, automated manufacturing routing, production & stock management, and much more, while collaborating closely with ops & design to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Experimenting, especially on AI-native features, to figure out what works, what doesn't and which previously-unsolvable problems can now be solved using this new class of technologies, while building the experimentation mindset that's required for us to succeed as a team in leveraging these technologies to their maximum potential.
Building the system whether that's improving internal tooling, setting up and automating infrastructure/monitoring/tests, helping ops team on deployments, contributing to elevate our culture of excellence, scoping integrations, writing specs, being involved on recruitments and much more.
Your day-to-day will include:
Designing AI-powered rules and scheduling logic
Building smart flows for inventory and production routing
Prototyping and iterating on AI-native features that feel magical
Developing internal tools, infra, CI/CD, and clean monitoring systems
Writing useful specs that make collaboration easier
Working closely with product and design to challenge ideas and ship fast
You’re a Great Fit If You Have:
4–7 years of experience in fullstack development (ideally in B2B or complex systems)
Fluent across the stack (frontend / backend / infrastructure)
Strong product sense and user obsession
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iterations
Clean coder with high standards (tests, docs, refactoring)
Curious about AI, allergic to AI-hype
Bonus: experience with no-code or exposure to industrial environments
